Hollywood's Broadwalk wins national recognition

You may think the Broadwalk has nothing in common with New York City's Grand Central Terminal.

Or the Tony Knowles Coastal Trail in Anchorage.

Or the Mount Auburn Cemetery in Cambridge.

But you would be wrong.

Hollywood's 2.5-mile Broadwalk has joined those locales on a list of 10 Great Public Spaces for 2013.

The American Planning Association chose the spots as part of its Great Places in America program.
